What does spring hold?

When: February 14, 2012

Think doing the Charleston, for starters, as dresses come with dazzling embellishments and drop-waists, reminiscent of the Jazz Age. Pastels are another runway staple – skirts, shirts, jackets, and blouses all look like they have been dipped in Easter egg dye. And sportswear becomes literal, with designers skimming silhouettes and playing with materials more suited to the locker room than the catwalk. There are also many new ways to bare some skin come the hot weather, courtesy of crop tops, cutouts, and short shorts.

The blazing sun of Morocco is the setting for the new Etro

When: February 1, 2012

The blazing sun of Morocco is the setting for the new Etro; illuminating, brightening, blurring the outlines and emphasizing the colors of summer fruits, or the natural hues of the earth. The paisley motif takes center stage in a slow unfolding of brilliant colors that, from their neutral, almost whispered starting point, develop into joyous bursts of color.

We have Patricia von Musulin’s series on route to us now and they should be in store in 2 weeks. Breath-taking!
