T. Smith Knowles
A native Californian, t smith knowles is a sculptor and fine artist. She holds a degree in Psychology with a focus on art therapy.
As an artist she experimented with new mediums and in so doing became intrigued with the beauty, versatility and inherent natural qualities of fine leather.
Putting all her skills together led to the creation of what t likes to call wearable art conceived and executed with the same creative force as her sculptures or paintings; however, instead of sitting on a shelf or hanging on a wall they are meant to be worn.
To that end they are surprisingly light, having no hardware to encumber them. All the enhancements are authentic vintage indigenous weaves, precious and semi-precious stones or antique beads and every cut, stitch, lacing and adornment has been hand fashioned solely by the artist into a one of one bag that will never be duplicated.
Each bag is signed and numbered by t smith knowles.
Whoever wears a t smith knowles bag does have the assurance that they have in their hand or on their arm an original work of art.
